This newly renovated 3-star hotel is only 20 minutes away from Ghent or Bruges. Nearby the motorway and the railway station it is ideally located to discover the rest of Flanders! The hotel is located in the centre of Aalter, a charming town and a paradise for bikers and hikers.

Our rooms, with all modern comfort, are situated around a unique inner courtyard. Enjoy our royal breakfast buffet in our breathtaking breakfast (ball)room. Or try one of the local drinks in our cosy bar.

One of the beauties of hotel Capitole is the old movie theatre. Build in the fifties, it is the last town cinema in Flanders (600 seats)! We hope to welcome you soon.

Standard rooms: These rooms are slightly smaller, but offer the same standard of comfort. Their private bathroom is well equipped with shower.

Standard plus rooms: Most of our standard plus rooms have a view overlooking the inner courtyard. They are more spacious and have a larger bathroom with bath or shower.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
